This place is a scam!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
They promise a lot of services and prices they cannot deliver! The so called "free" airline tickets they promise come with a caveat rendering them useless. They partner with different banks (In my case Bank of America) who will not cancel the charges based on information supplied by this scam of a company. When I tried to cancel with this company the person I needed to talk to never returned my call. It was either pay the $5,000 for services I've never got to use or have my excellent credit rating destroyed. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. A free dinner can end up costing you thousands of dollars!!!

I cannot thank my representative at Global Concepts, Amanda, enough for her wonderful help. She went above and beyond to assist me with changing existing arrangements, securing refunds where possible, and even arranging a medical emergency trip to Chicago when I was too upset and confused to handle it myself. I appreciate her patience and understanding, and promise to be more clear and coherent with my needs next time. Thanks again, Amanda!

They book you on the exact same sites you would. They get a pay back on each booking, giving you a few dollars from it as your "savings". I travel every few months, believe me, you'll never get even half of your money back, by getting 6-20 bucks savings per booking. My biggest financial screw up so far was signing up with them. Being a single mother, I'll pay for this mistake for a long time. They pick you by your credit scores, to invite you for a free meal. My 807 credit score dropped to 740 with the owners credit card application in my name. (I was told about their inhouse financing, nobody mentioned they'll apply in my name!) I never used the card, never needed it, so the bank closed it. With it went my credit score. Still recovering, now at 770, 2 yrs later. This is just a hard DON'T! 1/2023.

Very MisLeading, and Lie about costs

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
DoDI actually listened to their whole speech yesterday via zoom. They seemed friendly, like they actually cared about what you said, and what kind of travel plans you are planning. Even made it look like they were making notes on what you said ( writing down whatever on paper - what I seen on the zoom , watching her do it ). Anyways, they are a rip off, and in the end, they do try to confuse you with trying to explain how their $5,000 Gold, and Silver work. Then they also tell you at the end, there is a $295.00 yearly membership fee ( to pay for the upkeep of the technology , what her explanation was for that ). In short, they are scammers, and just trying to get your money. Do not sign up with them. They try to be smooth talkers, but in reality that is their job to screw you over for money. Obviously I did not fall for it. Just letting everyone else know too. Do

I was told I would get 4 travel vouchers that I or a family member could use. Not true! You have to be leaving together from the same airport andStay there are more blackout dates than they state.. Additionally, the service they give you is the same you can get through Priceline, Expedia or any other do-it-your-self company for free. Buyer beware! I'm paying $5,000 on a credit card that I can never use!!!

Misrepresentation of Company

A lady called me (cold calling) to tell me about their new travel company. She invited us to listen to a presentation over lunch. I specifically asked her if we had to join anything for a fee and she said NO. She lied! I told her on the phone that we were looking for a travel agency to book a trip and she said that's what they were. She neglected to mention that there is a fee of 5,000 for Silver and 6,000 for Gold membership. Needless to say, after the presentation (found out the fee at the end) we did not purchase it. We were presented with 2 round trip airline vouchers. A form has to be mailed in, you need to book 45 days in advance and give them a 75.00 deposit for each ticket you want. I've seen seen these vouchers before and they are not worth the trouble.

Their scammers! They misled you, manipulate you then tell you what you wanna hear, gaslighting you and when you ask questions but they redirect you with info thinking it sounds good but you gotta wait to see 46 days to use service and see what happens.

They use your info to apply for a credit card in your name that isnt inhouse 0% financing when you ddnt agree to apply. They lie your preapproved with them for either memberships and you just gotta pay 49-59 a month to them.

Global Concepts/Gold Crown Resort

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau that can be viewed. We attended a dinner meeting and were sold a "travel agency program" by Global Concepts in March 2017 that would guarantee us access to flights, cars, tours, cruises, and resort stays and that denied any association with a timeshare. However, within the week after the purchase when we had received some emails from Gold Crown Resort that we went on line to check reviews, found out that it was indeed a time share with a BBB rating of D because of the way it operated counter to what we were told. Our first effort was to contact the credit card company who pretended to "investigate" and then said they could do nothing. After 2 responses form Global Concepts that presented misinformation about our meeting and denied their association with the time share, complaint was labeled "unresolved". We were denied a refund. We can only warn people that this is likely a questionable travel program that should be avoided.

I experienced the exact same situation only we did not finish our meal or the bottom line once we determined it was a total mis-representation. This happened at Tulsa Oklahoma 09/16/2020 at Ruby Tuesday restaurant... Completely different slant of the timeshare scams

The BBB.org phone number is the phone number of global concepts! It's a scam
